Fall 2026 Lecture Lower DivisionThis course prepares undergraduate students to pursue professional opportunities in the aviation industry immediately after graduation. Students will meet corporate representatives and learn about the wide range of career paths available to aviation graduates. The course also introduces faculty who will share opportunities in undergraduate research and discuss pathways to graduate study.
Learning Outcomes1Demonstrate a clearer understanding of the career process in the aviation industry.
2Outline own skills and interests in professional documents (resume, cover letter, thank you letters, etc.) to use for jobs and internships within the aviation industry.
3Investigate work tasks, settings, salary, and resources corresponding to careers in the aviation industry.
4Actively learn from visiting industry representatives to explore self-interests in aviation careers.
