Summer 2026 Lecture Recitation Lower Division
This course is designed to support incoming College of Science students in their transition to Purdue University by developing the mindset, skills, and identity of a scientist. Through interactive workshops, reflection, and hands-on experiences, students will explore how they learn, think critically, collaborate effectively, and communicate scientific ideas. Students will also engage with research pathways and build a personalized plan for success in their first year. By the end of the course, students will have a deeper understanding of themselves as learners and emerging scientists, along with the tools needed to thrive academically and professionally.
