Fall 2026 Laboratory Lecture Lower DivisionThis is a course in Front-End Web Development that emphasizes the importance of JavaScript, its libraries, and other front-end technologies in crafting engaging and interactive user interfaces. The JavaScript programming language has been the backbone of modern front-end web development. It enables developers to create dynamic content that enriches the user experience and interaction on websites. This course will cover the fundamental ideas of JavaScript. Students will learn to use the Document Object Model (DOM) in JavaScript to make web pages that can update and change in real-time. Students will also explore various JavaScript libraries or other front-end technologies that help streamline the development process and allow for the creation of complex user interfaces with less code.
