Fall 2026 Lecture Upper DivisionA study of residential construction best practices through the lens of building science and sustainability. Emphasis is placed on the National Green Building Standard and other leading programs, codes, and guidelines that promote high-performance, energy-efficient, durable, and healthy housing. Students will explore how building science principles inform design, materials, and methods to achieve sustainable outcomes, with attention to incentives, regional practices, and emerging industry standards.
