Fall 2026 Laboratory Lecture Departmental CreditLower DivisionThis course surveys the manufacturing systems, processes, and tools commonly used to create finished products. It includes the fundamentals of material removal, measurement, statistical quality control, assembly processes, process planning and optimization, CNC programming, and automated manufacturing.
Learning Outcomes1Use appropriate measurement instruments and quality control methods, interpret their results, recognize potential issues, and resolve them.
