Fall 2026 Lecture Upper DivisionThis course examines the history of space exploration through film and readings, exploring the cultural underpinnings of space enthusiasm, the history of the Space Race, and the expansion of space access to non-Western nations and private actors.
Learning Outcomes1Describe the origins of space technologies in science and in literature in the late 19th and 20th centuries.
