Fall 2026 Lecture Upper DivisionTo be successful, a business must maximize revenue and efficiently control costs. This course will equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to plan, analyze, and control service operations. Students will learn essential managerial skills such as establishing operational standards, forecasting sales, budgeting, controlling, and evaluating performance throughout the product cycle.
Learning Outcomes1Identify and monitor operational standards at each stage of the product cycle.
2Analyze financial statements to identify the strengths and weaknesses of a business.
3Make business decisions based on the cost structure and business environment.
4Forecast future demand based on historical and advanced booking data.
