Fall 2026 Lecture Upper DivisionManufacturing plays a central role in the global economy. Recent advances driven by Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4.0 have been rapidly transforming how products are designed and produced. These changes highlight the importance of understanding analytics and modern manufacturing settings. This course offers an introduction to the core tools used to design, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes and product quality. Key topics include process management, multiproduct operations, material requirements planning, value stream mapping, statistical process control, lean manufacturing, additive manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and AI applications in manufacturing.
