Spring 2026 Laboratory Upper Division
Environmental sensors and the data these devices generate are becoming increasingly central to routine ecological and environmental science research and monitoring. This course introduces students to the function of a range of environmental sensors, operation of microcontrollers that control these sensors, and application of data produced by these sensors. This class emphasizes a practical approach with hands-on work with programming sensors and analyzing data.
