Fall 2025 Lecture JEDILower DivisionThis course introduces students to current challenges and opportunities in organizational leadership and management. Emphasis is placed on helping students understand how leaders navigate workplace dynamics, build effective teams, and lead across different perspectives and organizational contexts. Guest speakers from a variety of industries share real-world insights on topics such as leadership development, career advancement, organizational culture, communication in the workplace, and strategies for fostering productive work environments. Students will explore issues such as hiring practices, work-life balance, changing workforce demographics, and career planning. Each student will give a class presentation on a leadership or management topic of interest, followed by peer discussion to encourage reflection and engagement with contemporary business issues.
