Fall 2025 Lecture Upper DivisionEmployment Law for Business is designed to help students navigate the complex legal challenges businesses face in employment. Students will explore key topics like defining the employment relationship, addressing discrimination and harassment, and managing technology and privacy issues in the workplace. Through real-world examples, students will learn about critical regulations, including the Fair Labor Standards Act, FMLA, OSHA, and laws governing employee benefits. By the end of the course, students will develop the skills to approach employment law issues with confidence, applying legal, managerial, and ethical perspectives to solve problems effectively.
