Fall 2025 Laboratory Upper DivisionThis course provides jet turbine-type aircraft simulator experience, allowing students to engage in typical aircraft maneuvers in visual and instrument atmospheric conditions. The laboratory lessons emphasize aircraft procedures in normal and abnormal flight or equipment conditions, focusing on crew resources management, applicable flight regulations, and aircraft systems knowledge in a scenario-based experiential learning environment.
Learning Outcomes1Demonstrate familiarization with normal & non-normal aircraft operations and instrument flying procedures.
2Perform routine IFR/VFR procedures and crew resource management per industry standards.
3Demonstrate effective teamwork, communication, leadership, resilience, and decision-making skills.
4Manipulate flight deck switches accurately in accordance with standard operating procedures.
