Fall 2025 Distance Learning Upper DivisionThis course focuses on the social and emotional development of gifted and talented students and provides you with knowledge and skills needed to effectively support healthy psychosocial development through your work with gifted students. As well as providing an overview of the characteristics and needs of gifted students, we will also discuss special populations of gifted learners, diversity issues, family and peer relationships, and current educational approaches and counseling interventions, including considerations for career development for gifted students. Permission of instructor required.
