Fall 2025 Lecture Lower DivisionIntroduces the art, science, and practical applications of rhetoric through ancient, contemporary, and transcultural concepts. Helps students gain a grounded understanding of rhetoric and its application in everyday life and professional contexts. This course will feature the application of persuasion in diverse fields and for diverse purposes. Students will learn to apply rhetorical principles to written, visual, and multimodal forms.
Learning Outcomes1Articulate a comprehensive understanding of the evolution of rhetoric, from ancient to contemporary theorists.
