Fall 2026 Laboratory Lecture Upper DivisionThis course offers a comprehensive overview of retail florist management, covering key areas such as inventory management, customer service, marketing, financial practices, and design techniques for fresh, dried, and silk floral arrangements. Students will explore supplier relationships, strategies to enhance customer experiences, and how to adjust to seasonal trends. The course also examines the challenges florists face in a competitive marketplace. Through case studies and hands-on exercises, students will gain the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage a retail florist business, including managing seasonal demand and special events.
