Fall 2025 Instructors:

This course instructs students in advanced principles of film and video editing and color grading. Projects, discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises expose students to the technical and artistic aspects of the editing process.

Learning Outcomes

1Develop an increased understanding of the art, technique, and philosophies of the editing process

2Examine the concepts involved in the color grading process and visual effects.

3Demonstrate techniques for basic color grading and visual effects.

4Develop further proficiency with industry standard software.
