Summer 2025 Lecture Upper Division
This four-week summer course will focus on prediction, instrumented field observations, and case study analysis of severe storms. Students will receive instruction in severe storm forecasting, real-time radar interpretation, safe observation of severe storms, teamwork, and careers in research meteorology. During a field trip, students will deploy meteorological instrumentation in support of the instructors' research efforts. Students are required to deliver weather briefings and evaluate their forecasts. Permission of instructor required.
