Fall 2025 LectureThe purpose of this course is to provide you with essential tools and concepts you need to help create and sustain needed change in your personal and/or professional life, in your work teams and in organizations. This course is taught in an executive style format, intended for working future managers with emphasis on knowledge application and experiential learning.
Learning Outcomes1Understand how classic and contemporary change models can be used to create and sustain change in individuals, teams, and organizations.
2Understand how micro-level barriers to change are often overlooked, and how to overcome them.
3Learn to influence others when holding them accountable so that they choose to change.
4Understand fundamental sources of power and how they can be appropriately used to influence others to change.
5Understand how and when to utilize different leadership to lead change, and how to anticipate blind spots to be more influential.
6Understand how individual differences within teams impact effectiveness and change.
7Apply program materials to create a personal leadership development plan, and learn how to avoid regression to the status quo.
