Fall 2025 Lecture Upper DivisionEffective management of organizational resources in a coherent and seamless manner is necessary to realize a competitive advantage. Through the analysis of internal and external forces, students develop strategies to help an organization realize its goals and objectives. Through the application of concepts, tools, and principles of strategy and competitive advantage, this course emphasizes strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation to ensure the long-term success of an organization. The course is structured to enhance students' analytical, critical thinking, and verbal skills by integrating academic and experiential knowledge from previous functional courses such as accounting, finance, marketing, operations, human resources, etc.
