This course allows veterinary technology students to participate in a unique faculty/staff-led veterinary learning experience in an international location. Credit will be assigned on the basis of 0.5 credit for each 45-60 hours of student effort, up to a max of 2 credits. In most instances, one week of experience will equal 0.5 credit. Each veterinary learning experience will be designed by the faculty/staff leader to accomplish specific learning goals in the focused area of study. The course will vary in length from 1-4 weeks depending on the specific experience.
