In this course, we will explore how research informs workplace diversity and inclusion initiatives at the individual, team, and organizational level. This course is designed to help you examine real experiences of women in the workplace. Students will be paired up with working women (i.e., career mentors) to use as a resource to examine questions related to how gender is actually navigated in the workplace. Students will complete a variety of assignments and activities that will examine whether there is gap in who the research on gender bias in the workplace is applied in industry and corporations.
