This course has been designed to provide an in-depth study of motivation as one of the fundamental variables underlying human learning, behavior, and instructional design. The focus of the course is on two areas: 1) theories of motivation and the general principles that have contributed to the field of instructional design, and 2) how those principles are applied within practical design settings. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
