Continuation of Vocal Production for the Stage I. Emphasis on exercises in vocal exploration through application to performance. Permission of instructor required.
Learning Outcomes1Recognize the anatomy of the voice production mechanism.
2Classify and apply to text the International Phonetic Alphabet and the Lessac System.
3Identify any unnecessary vocal tensions to develop a clear open vocal instrument.
4Develop a flexible vocal instrument, enabling the voice to respond to a wide variety of emotional and vocal stimuli.
5Evaluate your personal vocal growth and establish a routine for continued vocal health.
6Apply and practice Lessac's three vocal Energies through performance.
7Develop an exercise support system for the actor to use in his/her professional life.
8To develop personal awareness of your vocal skill and the ability to analyze others.
