Summer 2019 Lecture(EDFA 61600) This course is a mix of theory and practice concerning planning and implementation of the fiscal responsibilities that a superintendent of schools would engage in at the district level. The course exposes students to some of the key processes and activities related to planning for and implementing the school budget and related activities. The course examines such planning concepts as goal definition, decision-making, and evaluation of planning as it relates to the fiscal issues of a school corporation. A feature of the course is an emphasis on the process of dealing with the elements of change and planning for such as it relates to fiscal issues in educational organizations. Prerequisite: EDST 51400 or 60800. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
