The development of new trends in, and the interrelationships among, the poetry of Ireland, Britain, and the United States. Poets central to modernism, such as Yeats, Pound, Eliot, Williams, and Stevens, will be emphasized, and students also will read more recent poets. Typically offered Summer Fall Spring.
