Spring 2019 Lecture Upper DivisionThe design and implementation of data warehouses (including data marts and operational data stores) are studied using current database technologies. Topics include data modeling for warehouses, data warehousing infrastructure and tool selection, data exploration, data synthesis and reduction, organizational metadata, data warehouse administration, and other contemporary issues. Preference is given to students having graduate status in the College of Technology with a CIT concentration. Permission of instructor required. Typically offered Spring.
