During the second semester of the capstone sequence, teams will use a systematic approach to plan and design workstations, office space, and operations for a production or service facility proposed in TLI 48390. This course will emphasize lean principles to increase efficiency and eliminate waste through continuous improvement and the role of the team in establishing the goals and completing the design project. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
