This capstone course integrates all aspects of manufacturing activities and materials handling focusing on lean concepts. A systematic approach is used to design a manufacturing facility integrating principles of lean production systems and eliminating waste through continuous improvement. Computer simulation and projects are required. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
