Spring 2025 Lecture Upper Division
Purpose of the course is to provide the student with an understanding of the contract legal environment as it pertains to profit and non-profit organizations and of the ethical considerations and social and political influences that affect such organizations. Students will examine a wide range of substantive rules of public law, which will provide a framework for a discussion of the ways in which managerial decision making affects and is affected by the legal environment.

3Demonstrate the ability to identify and apply concepts of the law governing contractual performance and breach.
4Demonstrate the ability to identify and apply concepts of the law governing remedies for contract breach.
5Demonstrate the ability to identify and apply concepts of the law governing the assignment of contractual rights and the delegation of contractual duties.
6Demonstrate the ability to identify and apply concepts of the law governing third party beneficiaries to contracts.
7Demonstrate their ability to do legal research and a publishable level.
