Focuses on information systems development theories, practices, and tools for rapid adaptation and management of leading-edge as well as emerging computing paradigms. MGMT 54400 Database Management is highly recommended. Permission of department required.
Learning Outcomes1Define the essential processes involved in information systems development.
2Analyze and represent business processes.
3Develop and validate systems models and design specifications for an information system application.
4Understand database concepts and design relational databases based on data models.
5Effectively use and maintain databases through hands-on experience with Structured Query Language (SQL).
6Work effectively on a team to successfully complete team projects.
7Proficiently use various tools used in systems analysis and design.
