Spring 2025 Instructors:

This is the second course in a two course, introductory sequence for College of Education students enrolled in the Honors College and/or Devito Program scholarship recipients. In this course, students will work on a research project with a faculty mentor, will participate in reflection and discussion of that research experience, will participate in seminars with faculty to read and discuss research, and continue to explore their own research interests and campus resources.

Learning Outcomes

1Participate in a semester-long research project with a faculty mentor for 3-4 hours per week.

2Participate in structured written and oral reflection on their semester-long research experiences.

3Interact with faculty in the College of Education through 3-4 seminars focused on discussion of their research and scholarship.

4Explore their research interests, and campus resources.

5Present their research projects during a public presentation session at the end of the semester.
