This course extends routing and switching knowledge with specific attention given to emerging trends. This course focuses on the concepts of traffic shaping, advanced exterior gateway routing protocols, label switching technologies, and quality of service. The necessary perspectives of integration of these topics into enterprise networks are addressed in both lecture and laboratory.
