Fall 2025 Laboratory Lecture Distance Learning Upper Division
This course focuses on the tasks and issues involved in the installation and administration of distributed computing systems. Topics include the administration of network operating systems and network system interoperability. Students will implement and maintain a comprehensive network service infrastructure.
Learning Outcomes1Understand, implement, and maintain network services such as DNS, PKI, e-mail, and web.
2Research and solve hardware and software implementation problems in laboratory projects.
3Produce written reports that document project work performed in the laboratory.
