Fall 2026 LectureA study of mass-production materials and processes used by designers. Students will focus on the limitations and benefits of various manufacturing methods. Special attention will be given to injection molding, casting, and stamping. Prerequisite: Admission to the M.F.A. program in Art and Design.
Learning Outcomes1Analyze and evaluate complex social issues to assess their impact on product design and development.
2Develop socially responsible design concepts that address critical social challenges by applying Green and Universal Design principles, grounded in research insights.
