Spring 2025 LectureThis course is designed for students in the Graduate Program in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences. During the course, lectures are presented which help students obtain a working knowledge of the use of animal models in research. Topics covered will explain the principles of using animals in research and as a model for human diseases. Students will also be exposed to the principle elements of translational research, methods used in translational research and trials, and the principles of data collection, management and interpretation. Prerequisite: VCS 60300. Permission of department required.
