Reading of selected novels and short fiction from Spain and Spanish-speaking America in their historical and cultural contexts. Readings, discussion, and papers in Spanish.
Learning Outcomes1Develop intermediate- to advanced-level oral communication skills in Spanish through classroom discussions, presentations, and group work.
2Expand and refine their competence to comprehend, analyze, and interpret texts in Spanish through integrated reading and discussion of authentic texts in Spanish.
3Expand and refine their written proficiency in Spanish by producing a variety of analytical essays and writing assignments in Spanish.
