An advanced undergraduate motor development course that examines the processes and coordination principles related to motor behavior development across the life span. Material and concepts are concentrated around specific skills areas and SPAN a broad range of ages and theoretical approaches.

Learning Outcomes

1Describe how motor abilities develop in infancy and childhood both in typically developing and clinical populations.

2Apply basic research designs in motor developments to clinical populations.
