Spring 2024 Laboratory Lecture Upper DivisionThis course will focus on the design, synthesis, creation, evaluation, and optimization of processes to convert basic biological materials into a finished product. Concepts of materials and energy balances, thermodynamics, kinetics, transport phenomena of biological systems will be used to design processes to minimize energy and environmental impacts, and evaluate economic factors while maintaining product quality. Course will include group projects, oral and written reports.
Course ABE 558 from Purdue University - West Lafayette.
