Spring 2025 Lecture Distance Learning Upper DivisionThis course provides upper-division undergraduate and graduate students with an understanding of core metabolic pathways. Anabolic and catabolic processes of metabolic pathways are studied. Biochemical and structural knowledge is used to determine how enzymes and coenzymes are needed to regulate and control metabolic pathways.
Learning Outcomes1Understand the molecular principles of life based on the core disciplines of biology, chemistry and physics.
2Understand the contributions of our discipline to society, including improvements to medicine, agriculture, the economy and the environment.
