Spring 2026 Lecture Distance Learning Upper DivisionThis course develops an understanding of the principles and theoretical foundations of individual and organizational performance management. Emphasis is placed on the perspectives, methodology, and theoretical frameworks as well as applications for performance management from the perspective of human resources professionals.
Learning Outcomes1Explain the principles and theoretical foundations of performance management at the individual, team, and organizational levels.
2Identify and analyze performance issues within organizations using both human judgment and technology.
3Evaluate and propose performance improvement interventions at the individual, team, and organizational levels.
4Compare HR practices for performance management and apply them to enhance employee development and organizational effectiveness.
5Examine and critically assess emerging technologies such as AI-driven analytics, feedback systems, and performance dashboards for managing and improving performance outcomes.
