Priority will be given to students that have completed CPB 84000. This course teaches skills useful for the role of a laboratory animal veterinarian. Course is project-based and includes hands-on techniques in laboratory rodents.
Learning Outcomes1Understand basics of rodent health monitoring, facility design and protocol review.
2Gain hands-on experience in handling rodents and performing techniques.
3Understand common research procedures in non-rodent species.
4Use critical thinking to work through clinical cases.
