Spring 2026 Laboratory Upper DivisionIndustrial Fermentation Products introduces students to microbial fermentations employed in the biofuels and fine chemicals industry and their role in the larger bioeconomy. Students will be introduced to diverse final products, technical challenges in the sector, and the individuals and companies working to solve them. We end our five-week module with a field trip to a local biorefinery plant.
