Spring 2026 Instructors:
Designed as a sequel to History 421 (Honors Historical Methods); this course is intended as the culminating academic experience for students in the Department of History Honors Program. It will require the completion of an undergraduate thesis in history. Permission of instructor required.
Learning Outcomes1Construct a bibliography using Purdue library resources and other relevant physical and digital archives.
2Analyze and evaluate texts, works, objects, events, or ideas in their cultural, intellectual, or historical contexts.
3Compose a thesis of original scholarship that adheres to professional standards of historical methodology and writing.
