Spring 2025 Laboratory Distance Learning Lecture Upper DivisionThis course takes a systematic approach to design of facilities and material handling systems for effective and lean production of goods and services. An array of qualitative and quantitative tools and techniques are introduced and utilized, emphasizing lean principles, waste reduction, and overall efficiency of operations. Flow analysis and optimization tools, including computer simulation, are introduced. Strong emphasis is placed on a comprehensive semester-long team project as an integral component of this course.
