Students implement, test, refine, present, and deliver the capstone project solution proposed in ASM 49400. Team based projects are completed during the semester and documented with a written report, poster presentation, and oral presentations. Projects encompass a broad range of topics within agricultural systems management.

Learning Outcomes

1Understand and apply the basic principles of mathematics, science, technology, management, and economics to agricultural systems.

2Identify agricultural systems problems, locate relevant information, develop and analyze possible alternatives, and formulate and implement solutions.

3Use economic principles, scientific technologies, techniques, and skills necessary to manage agricultural systems.

4Recognize and define agricultural systems problems and the impact of their proposed technological solutions in an international and societal context.

5Function with, and contribute effectively to, multi-disciplinary teams.
