Upper intermediate reading course in Latin prose and poetry, designed to consolidate students' grasp of grammar and syntax, broaden vocabulary, and develop precision and confidence in reading and translation.
Learning Outcomes1Continue to reinforce knowledge of the basic grammar, vocabulary, and syntax needed for reading and translating Latin.
2Apply foundational knowledge to selections from complex and stylistically sophisticated Latin literature.
