Second semester introduction to Latin. Focus on grammar, syntax, vocabulary, and elementary readings in classical Latin and the language of the Vulgate.

Learning Outcomes

1Continue to learn the basic grammar, vocabulary, and syntax needed for reading and translating Latin.

2Improve their understanding of English by enriching their vocabulary through etymological connections and by increasing their awareness of grammatical structures and stylistic choices.
