This course introduces students to multiple forms of UAS sensors and core fundamentals of Remote Sensing and Geospatial Technology. Students will be introduced to basic data capture and processing techniques and to effectively apply different forms of UAS sensors to real-world applications.

Learning Outcomes

1Identify and define core geospatial and remote sensing technology concepts.

2Effectively associate and relate UAS sensor technology with related portions of the electromagnetic spectrum.

3Identify and explain geographic coordinate systems and projections.

4Process and Create UAS data products within a Geographic Information System.
