Fall 2025 Distance Learning Lecture Upper DivisionThis course gives students opportunities of working on real-world projects provided by commercial corporations or organizations. Through the experiential learning experience, students have the opportunities to develop knowledge and skills in managing real estate projects. Depending on the available projects, students will work on topics related to real estate investment and development, facility design and renovation, asset management and other issues. The focus is on developing students' ability in applying what they've learned to solve real-world challenges and receiving coaching and feedback from industry experts.
Learning Outcomes1Learn how to organize your investment or development project by analyzing key characteristics and external constraints that affect schedule, budget, and outcomes.
2Plan and manage financial and physical resources by a well-planned schedule with appropriate tasks.
3Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to the project schedule manpower and costs.
