An introductory course in the selection of materials and processes as relevant to design, with laboratory experiences in the safe and proper use of tools and equipment. Required of students wishing extensive access to A&D tools and equipment.

1Demonstrate proper and safe handling of tools and machinery through design fabrication.

2Develop and apply time management skills to manage a rigorous workload effectively.

3Produce designs that reflect aesthetic and material awareness through curated projects.
